Epec releases 6510 Display Unit

Epec’s display product portfolio has increased with a new widescreen 10” HMI. Epec 6510 Display Unit is a powerful and durable programmable display for various machine applications. 6510 has excellent optical performance, direct sunlight readability and wide viewing angles. Display integration to a control system is easy due to CODESYS 3.5. or C/Qt programming, Epec MultiTool Creator and Epec PLC libraries.

Epec 6510 Display Unit key features:

• 10,1” sensitive capacitive PCAP touch screen
• Excellent sunlight readability and high brightness with optical bonding
• WQVGA 1280 x 800 resolution, 15:9 aspect ratio, 16.7M colors
• Dual core CPU, including GPU
• Linux based, freely programmable with CODESYS Visualization or C/Qt
• Epec MultiTool Creator configuration
• Versatile interfaces: 4 x CAN, 1 x Ethernet, 2 x USB 2.0, 2 x analog video input, RS232 port
• Ambient light sensor and internal speaker

NOTE: If there is an intent to use Firmware 1.4.3 with Epec 6505 Display unit, this upgrade requires a special Firmware upgrade package from Epec.

Epec MultiTool Creator 7.8

Epec has released the latest MultiTool Creator 7.8 and MultiTool Creator Installer 7.8.

MTC 7.8 main update is support for Epec 6510 Display Unit. MTC 7.8 also includes some smaller changes and bug fixes.

New version of Epec CANmoon

Epec CANmoon 3.6.2.0 is available from Epec’s Extranet. This version includes support for Epec 6510 Display Unit.
