什么是Epec GateE？
Epec GatE通过使用类似VPN的安全远程连接，帮助用户通过其个人电脑或手机远程连接至机器。它为所有设备数据的传输搭建了安全网关。GateE 由Epec6000系列单元运行的客户端应用程序和远程用户的个人电脑组成。此外，客户可以通过访问 GateE 门户网站轻松管理所有许可证、用户和权限。
如果现场机器已安装了任何Epec6000系列单元且配备有网络连接，GatE只需通过更新软件即可启用与现场机器的远程连接。
与 Epec 6000 系列机组一起，GateE 支持各种远程维护和调试功能，例如：
- 使用 CODESYS WebVisu* 或 VNC 远程桌面为现场操作员提供技术支持。
- 通过FTP 交换文件更新控制系统软件或收集数据。
- 通过远程 CODESYS 在线调试功能访问子网络中的ECU，排查复杂的应用程序问题。
- 通过CODESYS WebVisu*在智能手机或个人电脑上实时查看可视化的诊断和维护数据，例如 I/O 接口状态和错误日志。

What is it about?
Epec GatE enables a secure VPN like connection from a remote user’s PC or smartphone to a machine. It is a secure gateway for all machine data. GatE consists of the client applications running in Epec 6000 series units and in the remote user’s PC. In addition, customer has access to GatE web portal to easily manage all the licenses, users and privileges.
GatE can be taken into use easily, with software update, also to existing machines on the field if there is any Epec 6000 series unit in the machine with Internet connection.
Together with Epec 6000 series units, GatE enables the use of various remote maintenance and debugging features, such as:
- Give technical support to local operator with the help of remote desktop using CODESYS WebVisu* or VNC.
- Update control system software or collect data by exchanging files with FTP.
- Troubleshoot complex application problems with remote CODESYS on-line debugging access to any ECU in sub networks.
- Access realtime diagnostics and maintenance data with your smartphone or PC, such as I/O interface statuses and error log, in visual format using CODESYS WebVisu*

GatE can be taken into use easily with software update. It can be taken into use also also on existing machines on the field if there is an Epec 6000 series unit in the machine with Internet connection.

- Epec offers GatE as service running in Epec hosted cloud server, meaning minimum initial investments for the customer.
- If there is a Epec 6000 series product already in the machine, GatE can be taken into use with a software update without any additional hardware.
- Licensing is based on an affordable one-time device and user license fees.

- Customer is given access to GatE portal and can immediately start using the service, no server installations or configurations are needed.
- All necessary applications for the Epec 6000 series unit can be downloaded from Epec Extranet (for extranet credentials, contact sales@epec.fi)
- CODEYS library is provided in Epec SDK to easily initialize the access to GatE, Epec provides instructions how to include GatE to your application.
