Hiab will act as the lead customer for HPCU, with the solution planned to be integrated as the central computing unit for autonomous systems in Hiab\u2019s MULTILIFT\u00a0demountables\u00a0product portfolio.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The collaboration\u00a0represents\u00a0a design win for\u00a0Epec\u2019s\u00a0upcoming HPCU and supports its intended role as a central computing unit for autonomous and software-defined machine applications.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Designed to support modern software-defined architectures, HPCU is intended to enable OEMs to\u00a0consolidate\u00a0functions and scale advanced features such as automation\u00a0assistance\u00a0(AA) and on-device AI, alongside responsive HMI and connected services, while meeting industrial requirements for robustness and lifecycle management.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">HPCU is developed in collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and is based on Qualcomm Technologies\u2019 Snapdragon Ride\u2122 Platform.
