Finnish technology company Epec launches its electromobility offering under the name Epec Flow. <\/span><\/b>Epec Flow is a comprehensive and customizable solution for electrifying non-road mobile machines and commercial vehicles and optimizing their performance and improving total cost of ownership. <\/span><\/b>Epec Flow delivers proven technology for off-highway and commercial vehicle industry to enable zero emissions.\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n PONSSE EV1 electric forest machine technological concept\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n Epec Flow solution has been researched and tested for several years, for example, with Ponsse. Ponsse launches an electric forest machine technology concept PONSSE EV1 together with Epec Flow launch. The PONSSE EV1 concept took its first steps in 2019, when Ponsse and Epec <\/span>started to investigate responsible power source solutions in line with sustainable development.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Ponsse provides sustainable harvesting solutions by listening closely to customer needs, and it also aims to lead the way in the development of forest machine technologies. Ponsse is part of sustainable forestry and seeks carbon neutrality in its operations and solutions. The concept machine features a fully electric powertrain, as well as Epec\u2019s power distribution unit and hybrid control unit. The machine\u2019s powertrain operates fully with battery energy. Batteries are charged by using a Range Extender, which is a combustion engine at this stage of development.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cTechnological development is fast and offers us excellent opportunities to develop our solutions further, even in unexpected directions. We have worked hard with our technology company Epec to enable this concept.
